We are certainly in unchartered and unprecedented times at the moment with the COVID-19 virus.
I am currently speaking to Recruitment industry leaders across Australia and the consensus is that no one has seen anything like this before. With revenue for many Consultancies getting tight, we are seeing some redundancies taking place.
My thoughts and best wishes go out to anyone who finds themselves in this predicament. I hope you and your family can get through this tough time with as minimal impact as possible.
Whilst most are finding things very tough, there are some industry sectors that are holding up and are seeing only minimal impact which is good news for those few. We are uncertain of how long these tough times will last but most seem to think that the Recruitment market will bounce back quickly once we turn the corner.
We are a resilient nation and, as I’ve always said, the number one characteristic of a successful Recruitment Consultant is resilience. Let’s support each other during these difficult times.
